zen

I have decided to be very zen the next two days. I will be zen and I will count to ten and I will not give my two weeks in the middle of the Valentine's rush and walk out of the store because the manager changed procedure or something today and either forgets to tell us or something.

I am very very zen. And I will refuse to talk to her until March. I will not be talking to her tomorrow. This shouldn't be a problem, all she does is sit in the office and do things that the rest of us could do if she bothered to delegate anything, or teach anyone her system so she wasn't stupid stressed and could take a break for a while, while someone else did the same thing.

So I will be very zen.

In other, better news, apparently box is short people because they are all on school break. So I asked one of the managers if someone like me could train and become box as well so when I wasn't needed in concessions, since I don't work five days normally, I could work over at box. She told the manager I was interested in cross training and she was pleased, but the General Manager (who I am not impressed with but he knows what he's doing. It's not the same thing with florist girl) said something how he didn't want people cross training until something. But the managers were sort of like...they might have you do it anyway and just not tell -gen manager's name- That would make me happy. And I've started compiling a list of places I should apply. I have plans.

In not so good news... I may need a new computer. For a while mine has been funky and it's had no battery life so I was planning on buying a new battery, but that's really expensive. Far more expensive then I realized, especially when you add on the fact I need a new power cord. It's about a fourth of the cost of a new computer! So maybe I can convince my parents to help me out a bit and give me some money.
