So i wrote this last night and then it didn't post. Well, actually my internet decided to act up and was like. BOO, I HATE YOU. So I figured since I wrote it last night, it counts as my blog for yesterday and I'm still on track. WHEE.
So, you know how I've been whining about my manager... Well I've decided to quit there as soon as I can get a new job and I will be job hunting come tomorrow.
But, with my job at the theatre being so stringent about breaks, which I don't get at the florist, I decided to take a look into the labor code for my state.
While I'm not a labor lawyer by any means, from my reading of it, it appears the store (and probably the entire business) is in violation of a few labor laws. Which is curious. And interesting information that I might have to use to my advantage.
I'm asking my lawyer aunt and uncle if they know any labor lawyers I could sit and chat with. So I know for sure if they are in violation or not. But until then, if the manager wants to give me any more grief about stupid things...well, it's nice to know I have bigger information then whether I took the the right min. (which was never posted in the first place so how could anyone know?)
